PomaSlim

If you’ve browsed around our site here, you probably know just how powerful pomegranate can be. The remarkable thing is, that when put into supplement form and combined with additional vitamins, pomegranate supplements can be that much more powerful.

The Good

POMAslim is a relative newcomer to the natural antioxidant supplement game, but that doesn’t mean it should be discredited by any means. In fact, PomaSlim is on of the more promising supplements we have come across.

We noticed moderate weight loss benefits, but what we found to be the most interesting was the energy boost. I’m not one to go to the gym on a regular basis, but I somehow was motivated to go to the gym every other day, to amplify the weight loss benefits. Over the course of a month I had lost 18 pounds.

The Bad

Again, POMAslim doesn’t have much of a reputation, so it was difficult to gauge the effectiveness of this particular pomegranate supplement. There isn’t much detail about the ingredients found in their supplement, so I was pretty skeptical of POMAslim, but in the end I found it to work rather effectively.

Conclusion

POMAslim is a rather effective pomegranate weight loss supplement, but their site offers little information about what is actually contained in this product, and they are fairly new to the market. However, for $5 I was more than willing to take the risk and I was quite happy in the end.

Weight Loss With Pomegranate

Often times these days we hear pomegranate referred to as a super fruit. This title is well deserved as pomegranate has some extremely powerful qualities you just won’t find in most other fruits. Pomegranate has been acclaimed by many in the press including Oprah, and rumors that pomegranate are a mjaor part of Michael Phelps’ diet have been circulating ever since the 2008 Olympics in China.

But why does pomegranate get so much attention for its weight loss abilites? Simply put, pomegranate is remarkable not just for weight loss but also for all around health. Pomegranate strengthens the body as a whole, and cleansing the body of toxins.

Pomegranate and Cholesterol:

Pomegranate has been proven to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) while raiing HDL cholesterol, or good cholesterol. In turn blud pressure drops, and your chances of developing a heart disease are greatly reduced. In addition, pomegranate has been shown to reduce the chance of heart attack and stroke, by clearing blood vessels of plaque.

As a result, our body, and our metabolism in particular begin to function much for effectively and make it far easier to exercise.

Pomegranate and Antioxidants:

We’ve all heard of the large amount of antioxidants to be found in red wine. The antioxidants found in pomegranate are far more abundant. These antioxidants help cleanse toxins out of the body and eliminate free radicals.

The elimination of free radicals has been said to have many health benefits. Some of these benefits include, lower chances of developing cancer, arthritis, diabetes, and many other hard to manage diseases. In combination with the vitamins found in pomegranate, you’re on your way to a much healthier lifestyle.

Pomegranate Suppliments:

Many pomegranate supplements available on the market today contain added nutrition. Vitamins B12, B6, E, C, and much more in addition to the nutrients and minerals already found in pomegranate naturally. These added nutrients help fight fatigue and give you a nice energy boost to help you through your day, or to get more done at the gym than ever before. Pomegranate truly deserves to be called a superfruit.

Health Benefits of Pomegranate

It’s taken a while for the benefits of Pomegranate to be well known and hit the mainstream. But after hearing so much about Pomegranate I decided to check it out and look into the various health benefits that I’ve heard. So what do we know to be true about pomegranate?

Pomegranate is rich with antioxidants. - This is the health benefit of pomegranate you hear the most, probably because it is absolutely true. Pomegranate is chock full of antioxidants giving it the same benefits you would get from green tea and other antioxidant rich supplements. Antioxidants aid in the elimination of free radicals. Antioxidants have been linked to the cure or prevention of many common ailments. Not all claims can be backed up 100%, these will be discussed in the next section. The antioxidants found naturally in pomegranate aids in the break up and removal of toxins in the body, keeping your body clean and healthy.

Pomegranate is full of vitamins. - Vitamins A, E, and C can all be found in large quantities in pomegranate and pomegranate supplements. Vitamins help keep your body healthy as a whole. Receiving the recommended daily consumption of these vitamins can aid your metabolism, mental health, energy levels, and reinforce the cardiovascular system. Just to name a few. Many pomegranate supplements

Pomegranate aids cardiovascular health. - You’re always hearing about wine and green tea aiding your cardiovascular system, warding off heart attacks, high cholesterol, and more. And these claims are true! But it wasn’t until recently that we knew pomegranate contains at least 3 times as many vitamins and antioxidants as wine or green tea.

Pomegranate is tasty! - I don’t think I have to go into detail about how great pomegranate tastes. If you’ve ever tried it before you would no. But if you’re simply looking for the benefits of pomegranate and want them on the go pomegranate supplements are available.

Ok, thats what we know for fact, but what about all the other claims we hear about? Whats real and what claims aren’t necessarily true about pomegranate?

Pomegranate has become very popular in the last decade, especially in the last year. Many claims have been made from treating erectile dysfunction to curing cancer. Below we’ll list some claims that don’t have much supporting evidence or are simply untrue.

Pomegranate Cures Cancer. - Antioxidants have been loosely tied to curing cancer recently, but a direct connection has not been made. Antioxidants do aid in the elimination of free radicals but this does not necessarily mean that it effectively treats and/or prevents cancer. Many alternative medicine practices disagree and strongly believe antioxidants can aid in the fight against cancer.

Natural Pomegranate Fruits and Pomegranate Juices Give You Huge Energy Boost - The vitamins in Pomegranate do provide you with a little extra energy, but nothing supstantial. If you’re looking for the same buzz you’d get from a pot of coffee or a couple Red Bulls, pomegranate can’t help you.

On the other hand, most pomegranate supplements contain your daily dose of vitamin B 12 which does give you a great boost in daily energy levels. These are natural energy boosters and won’t leave you jittery or crashing hours later.
